200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training

On this 21-day 200-hour Yoga TTC in Thailand, you will experience a dynamic variety of classical hatha yoga asanas, dynamic vinyasa flows, detailed analytics, alignment, and hands-on adjustments, plus weekly aerial, acro and SUP yoga workshops.
Learn sacred Yoga Sutra philosophy, energetic systems, and therapeutic based anatomy. Practice teaching every day, design original classes, learn set sequences and receive detailed feedback to become a confident instructor.
Island is a magical paradise with the best beaches in Thailand. The resort has an ocean view yoga shala, a swimming pool, and three beaches within a 2-minute walk.

1. Techniques & Practice 100hr
Hatha Vinyasa Yoga
Receive detailed analytic instruction and guided daily practice of about 50 traditional hatha yoga asanas, sun salutations, dynamic vinyasa flows and various other sequences with emphasis on correct alignment, transitions, cueing, hands on adjustments and modifications for beginner and advanced levels with various props and assisting.
ULU Yoga is famous for their cushioned aerial swings and unique style, which mixes traditional hatha yoga, vinyasa, acro and restorative. Swings support the body weight to enhance the range of motion, attain correct alignment, do advanced poses, decompress the spine and cure back pain. The course also has regular silk hammock workshops.
Acro & SUP Yoga
Acro Yoga teaches you to trust and communicate in fun and challenging new ways. SUP Yoga offers a direct connection to nature while floating above the crystal clear waters. Both help deepen the skills for regular asanas, as the require maximum focus and balance.
Classical Yoga Training
Learn meditation, pranayama breathing, cleansing techniques (kriyas), and Bandhas (body locks), to strengthen and purify the body and mind. Also receive Classical Yogic Training for daily practice of these techniques plus workshops to explore the chakras, mantras, kirtan, and Ayurveda.
2. Teaching Methodology 25hr
Learn communication skills, teaching styles, teacher qualities, time management, the establishment of priorities and boundaries, student learning process, group dynamics, time management, fulfilling individuals in various group settings, the principles of demonstration, observation, assisting and correcting.
3. Anatomy & Physiology 20hr
Learn the biomechanics of movement, health benefits of various asanas, techniques to treat illnesses and injuries, principles of compression, proportion and bodily systems (respiratory, muscular, skeletal and energetic) combining traditional knowledge with modern scientific studies.
4. Yoga Philosophy 30hr
Cultivate a deep understanding of Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras, 8 limbs, yamas and niyamas, nadis, chakras, koshas, and karma. Study the various branches and history of yoga. Learn how to integrate this wisdom to create an authentic yogic lifestyle.
5. Teaching Practice 10hr
Practice teaching every day to become a confident skilled instructor. Learn assisting, adjustments, set routines, and class design. Received detailed feedback to facilitate development and finish the course ready to go out and teach professionally.
6. Group Work & Self-Study 20hr
There is pre-course work to practice some basic poses and pranayama to prepare the body and mind for intensive training. During the course, there is daily self-study and group work to read the manual, review notes, design classes, and practice teaching.
50HR AERIAL YOGA TRAINING
Stay for an extra week and join the 7day 50HR Aerial Yoga TTC to earn an additional Yoga Alliance Certificate of Continuing Education. Receive detailed instruction of aerial analytics, alignment, sequencing, class design, and teaching practice, plus specialized workshops in aerial acro, restorative and performance.
The course focuses on how to practice correctly, explore what’s possible with creative workshops and develop confidence as a skillful instructor. Students are encouraged to take rest and skip advanced options. Some people have no experience and join for fun, others are professionals seeking qualified certification.
ULU YOGA SWING
ULU Yoga is famous for its unique style and cushioned aerial swings, which are sold around the world. The fitted padding and poly-thread fabric provide greater comfort and support so you don’t slip or bruise the skin like with regular silk hammocks, thus facilitating a greater range of practice and development.
Students receive printed manuals. ULU Yoga recommends studying Teaching Yoga by Mark Stephens, Hatha Illustrated by Martin Kirk, Yoga Anatomy by Leslie Kaminoff, Patanjali's Yoga Sutras, Hatha Yoga Pradipika, and the Bhagavad Gita.
Packages include a healthy vegetarian breakfast with fresh tropical fruits, muesli, coconut rice porridge, green smoothie bowl, homemade yoghurt, eggs, salad, french toast, banana pancakes, coffee, and tea.
For outside guests it costs 200THB. The full menu includes a variety of Thai, Asian and Western food. Resort guests receive 10% off dinner.

This course takes place on the island. The resort has a beautiful ocean view yoga shala, swimming pool and access to three incredible beaches, which are perfect for swimming and snorkelling. The resort is a peaceful Thai owned family business. It is surrounded by lush tropical nature and chirping birds. The restaurant serves up delicious Thai and western food. There is laundry, motorbike rental, ATM and nearby is 711 convenience store for all your personal needs.
